First mod I did was peel the B Pillar vinyl, along with the TRD OR vinyl and all the chrome emblems. All within 30 mins of owning it lol I love it personally! Less is more

When I went with matching the front side and back side glass with the same tint, the black B pillar did not look right to me.

Truck looks great! Took all my stickers off too, but haven't decided what I want to do with the silver Tacoma letters yet :anonymous:

This is the route I thought of. De-chrome it and didn’t know the B pillar was a sticker, thought it was paint. I like what you have done, sir.

I removed mines about 6 months later. I live in Hawaii and the truck isn’t parked in a garage.

Okay I see myself breaking out the heat-gun sometime soon. Geez, why would they paint the pillars and then cover them?

Thanks gentlemen I appreciate it! :hattip:I am a fan of the black Tacoma emblems, but I have ocd when it comes to keeping it clean and hate the debris that can build up inside and around the letters so nothing there is easier to keep clean lol and it looks good imo! Emblems came off super easy too!

There is one member who removed the vinyl and then regretted it and had it put back on. I believe the charge was $100 or something at an autobody place. So that’s about the extent of the gamble.

I like the look of the black, but really hate how Toyota achieved it, with just crap vinyl tape with no defined edge or border.

In the end I’m torn between the looks, but have chosen “no vinyl” after raking the shit out of the vinyl on the trails, so it was not looking good anyways.
