Anyone with a dual cab have a pair of calipers and 5 mins handy?

I need this measurement between the channel on the roof at the middle mounting point for racks. Ideally both sides, Ideally in mm. Mine are 2.2mm bigger on the drivers side vs passengers side, wondering if thats the norm or if they're different between year models too.

Trying to see how much, if any, difference there is between each vehicle for mounts I'm designing.

Need measurements of each side at the middle mounting point, and year model of your dual cab.

Much appreciated! $100 off and you can beta test the rack if you're interested! :)

Just be aware... if you ever move to NY you’ll need to have the sway bar installed to pass the state inspection... ended up having to buy a new one since mine was removed back in 2014. Passed inspection in NH, WI, MA all without it though.

Not going to be moving to NY in this lifetime. Florida’s inspection consists of...oh yeah...nada! Thanks for the head up though. Add NY to my list of not gonna states, MA, MD, CA and any other state that doesn’t allow Class III devices or weapons. Commies!

To be honest , I cheated. I gave it to my buddy who owns a body shop. But with that being said, he sanded it, primed it, sanded it again then sprayed it lightly with Light even coats and drying in between. Then after that cleared it.

Although if I didn’t have him do it, I would’ve just looked for a color matching vinyl wrap on eBay and wrap it myself. That might last longer in your environment .

Just finished 3D printing an iPad mini mount I designed to fit over the top of factory unit while charging and connecting to audio. I can use the iPad for music, Maps, etc... pretty excited about it.

I keep seeing all these states that fail inspection for all these weird things and NC is so lenient about that stuff. What about cars that didn't come with sway bars from the factory? Also what's the law that states you have to have it? I would read up on all of that and make sure the inspection station isn't just being over zealous about it.
