Hey bud, are you going to take some install pictures or do you have a build thread?

Ill definitely take photos. I have never taken the time to do one of those build threads but I will certainly document this process to make it easier on anybody that may have questions. I have never done this to a Taco but I have installed countless dual cases on the older trucks. I expect it will be rather easy relying on that experience.

Awesome bud, can't wait to see the pictures and install process. Sounds good man, yeah if you have dual cased the older ones it should be pretty straight forward for ya, maybe some minor differences. I'm in the process of dual casing my 82 Hilux then it's game on for the Tacoma. Good luck man!!

Ill keep you posted. Its going to be a short while before I get to do it. Still have to source an extra shaft and have it shortened so I can drive off when I am done.

Unfortunately, for now Im going to have to stay stock. Not sure how the FJ swap would work on my AT as the shifter would be inside the center console after adding the TacoBox. If its doable, it will be done though, one day.

Man I've never heard of rad designs before. I'm glad you just mentioned that because I will need a triple stick setup for my 82 pickup and will need one for my 16 Tacoma aswell. Thanks man.

any turd gen with the taco box installed or in process. how did you end up measuring how long of a drive line you need prior installing the taco box? What additional items were needed for the install besides a new drive line? asking for a friend (aka my inner soul). Just trying to figure out what is needed before pulling the trigger o_O:D @BigMike if you can chime in as well that would be awesome. Thanks

I dont have long travel and have not done any changes or updates to the transfer case. I have an AT Offroad and havent touched the gears yet (if it matters)

Typically you measure after and get a custom TW one piece shaft.
