Alabama thread!

I've really been looking hard at this kit and may be able to purchase soon, but I'm just going to sit on the kit, until my tires start to go bald, or my warranty runs out. I'll hit 36K in a year easily...

My question, if I use the carrier bearing drop bracket from this kit, would I still need to use shims under the medium Dakars?

 

We need to do it earlier. Last year was like camping at a train station in hell.

Unfortunately it is still sitting waiting for me to put the inner fender and flair back on it before I have it towed.

 

We could also go up to Prentice Cooper or something

 

I tried it without shims. Definitely need shims.

ECU is fried or security locked not sure which. ECU gives no communication when connected to OBD tool.

I'd like to know what caused this as well!

 

Installed an aux fuse panel. Everything worked, just needed to be buttoned up. Broke a rib. Left battery disconnected for about 6 weeks. Reconnected battery. Turns over, doesn't start, no dash lights.

Would be nice, but life gets in the way. We are going to colorado, utah, moab, and the grand canyon next march for the girls spring break. We are hard set on it this time. My wife already told me its going to happen. We had to put it off this year due to unforseen issues. Soo anybody wanna go?

 

All that in one week? What week are they off, do you know yet?

I would like to take a week off on top of my spring break and get out there then instead of going during the summer.

 

Might still be a bit of snow at that time. Our last trip in early May, we saw 37' one morning. Also saw 108' 1 week later.

 

We are gunna leave on saturday, be gone that week and half of the next one. Prolly come back on wed the following week. We dont yet.

 

Its either that week or the first week of july. Id rather be cold lol

 

Did you say free? If so, dibs! My wife needs some type of step on her limited 4Runner to help her get in and get the baby in her seat. Wifey is only 5'2 so she needs all the help she can get

If you know of anyone looking to pick up a mountain bike let me know. Looking to sell a size small 2015 Giant Stance 2 (entry level full suspension, 27.5), and possibly a size medium 2016 Trek Stache 7 (crazy fun geometry hard tail, 29+). Both are in really good condition.

 

I'm down, but going to need someone to fund my retirement. Is that "go fund me" website still a thing?
