Be careful, the last time I bailed off a bike on my right shoulder, this happened.

Nope. Road bike. 0 mph. I had stopped on a slight incline to turn my Apple watch on, clipped into my :censored: Look pedal on the right side. Kicked off to get started again, couldn't get my foot into the :censored: Look pedal on the left side, and gravity said, "come here, you little :censored:!"... I landed on my right shoulder, in an effort to cushion the fall, and completely tore two of the four rotator cuff tendons. Surgery was 8 weeks ago, and it's getting better, but avoid it if you can.

yet another issue with apple product people... can't focus on the tasks at hand. I knew there was a reason behind this! :boink::D

I kid of course and it's also why I stick to four wheels. I'd be one of those incompetent boobs on the road probably :anonymous:

Everything healing fine now? been a couple months.

It's getting there. RC surgery ain't no joke, it's the most complex :rasta: in the body. Besides the RC tendons, I also tore the longer of the two bicep tendons on that side, so the doc snipped it and reattached it lower on my arm bone. Recovery can be anywhere from 3 - 8 months, but my PT doc says I'm progressing nicely. I am thinking about a scoot ride out to Big Bend for Memorial Day weekend, and think that's doable.

    Holy fucking shit .

I know that feeling of just going over due to gravity and it sucks. @ChadsPride has seen me crash at least 40 times on the mtb bike and so far, no major injuries. Lots of blood tho

My dad converted his Ultraglide into a trike when he turned 65 and hasn't looked back. He has the police motor and chip (he's a Shriner, and got their Shriner Special) and the thing will spin wheels going into 3rd. Plus, he doesn't have to worry about laying it over like he did with his previous bike.

He says the best thing about being a trike is that he can haul more stuff and isn't as worried about it folding underneath him when passing a large truck.

Sorry, but can't do a trike. Now, I might do a sidecar and take one of our dogs along...
