It's seen as negative towards more of the older folks. We've used it from time to time growing up too, and never thought it was bad, until one uncle said not to use it, so we just stopped saying it around older relatives. I was just joking with my reply anyway.

I guess you've gotta get use to eating Hot. I eat Extremely Hot and can pretty much handle a lot as its flavor to me. . . If there are no spices, peppers, chilis, etc. Its boring to me.

Buffalo Wild Wings Extremely Hot was a joke to me. LOL. I did have some Wings in Reno,NV that melted my mind. That shit made my stomach burn and it hurt coming out.

yall should try some of the hot sauce they sell at asian supermarkets. Sriacha or whatever it's called is more of a garlicy mild hot sauce, good on eggs.

if you want good chili oil or sauce, make it yourself by:
getting a chili powder of your kind, preferably organic and fresh. chop up a couple chili peppers that you think will taste good. throw in some black pepper, sesame seeds, and salt. put those ingredients in a container that is not afraid of hot liquids. heat up some oil in a pot. let is cool for a cool minutes, then pour it slowly into the blended chili mix, using chop sticks to stir it while you pour. make sure all powder is dissolved. Let is sit a bit, and you'll have homemade chili oil!

 

I just opened a jar that I picked last September. They went great with some homemade chicken enchiladas.
