Both my 1998's have the bulb in the cluster. However, only the 5-Lug had the bulb, wiring, and sender for it.
100% sure you have it in your cluster, it just may not be pinned or hooked up.

My 5-Lug has the lights for A/T Park, A/T Temp, RR Diff Lock, and 4WD even though it obviously doesn't have it. My PreRunner came with the 4x4 light pinned and bulb'd.

Not a bad thing as long as it was rebuilt well but might make getting insurance harder/more expensive.

 

They’re aging systems not much you can do besides normal maintenance. These trucks didn’t have cabin air filters either.

 

maybe its the intense humidity in these parts during the summer and spring, but 22yrs is pretty good to only just notice it

 

My AC system sounds like how Darth Vader breathes, I need to get it looked at. Works well in warm weather but if it's hot out it hardly does much.
