The shape on that tent looks nice. I have an LLBean that I can stand in but only in the very fucking middle and even then it’s close.

I actually bought that tent at walmart but ended up returning it. Have the Coleman 6 person instant up as well. The 4 man was to small to fit my Teton XL cot. 30 seconds up, maybe 5 minutes down if I'm taking my time. Rain fly is a must by for sure.

Highly recommend one of these to pre-warm the tent at night.

 

My sleeping pad fit inside with no issues so I should be fine. I already have a the rainfly saved to Amazon, so I'll buy if I think I needed. I haven't thought much about a heater, but I'll wait until I sleep in it during the winter to make that call. I mostly camp during the summer so I'll address the issues as they come up. Thanks though!

 

Yeah I've the gigantic XXL Teton cot. I was able to get it to fit in the 4 man, but it was pushing against both sides of the tent and was a bitch to get opened up in the tent. I like the 6 man because I can fit that cot or the big queen size coleman cot for the wife an I with room to spare.

The heater is just nice to pop up like 20 minutes before I go to sleep, makes for a nice warm sleeping bag.

 

Yea I feel ya. I've only froze my ass off on one trip so far, but that was my fault for not swapping out my sleeping bag to my -30 bag.

It's like butter - egg emulsion similar to hollandaise but the ratio is completely different and other things.

Like all cooking the key is to cook the food until it reaches the proper doneness and then stop...do not continue to cook the food once it's at it's proper doneness.

Yeah I looked at the bigger one but wanted something more compact. Used it in my Tepui back in the day and it was nice. Still warms up my 6 person just fine .

I think the Costco one is a 6 man as well. Same design deferential color and comes with the rain fly. I love it. The one they currently have is black and blue. Its slightly different but same pop up design.
