:oldglory: the history around the Raiders always amazed me...they were willingly signing up for what they thought would be a suicide mission. Its a wonder anyone survived! Read the book, seen the movie...did an essay on them for a high school history project...

Between MCAS Yuma, YPG, Border Patrol and Customs big brother has a big presence around the area.

Anyone have any experience with lithium motorcycle batteries? I just bought one for my Electra Glide Limited. About $125 more ($200 v. $325) and twice the battery. Heat is not supposed to be an issue but I guess they don't like cold weather...not a desert issue.

Oh, and weight difference is huge. The AGM was 20 lbs and the lithium is about 3 lbs. The parts guy handed it to me and I thought it was a fake just to show what they look like.

Here you go people. Your new headlight bulb now cost $1000. Unbelievable

Even the dog is trying to hide from the white shit.

    April 10 snow.jpg

Goes until 1 PM tomorrow. With quarter inch of ice mixed in they say.

I got tired of it as I got older. I'll be 61 in a couple of months and now try to avoid sleeping in the back of the truck. But on occasion will if I can't get into a cabin that night. But one night is more than enough for me now and try to avoid it.

Even full blown wall tent camping gets old anymore.

Prefer running hot water and a kitchen with electricity. And a sitdown shitter instead of an outhouse. Even if the furniture is burnt orange and the couch looks like my first one back in the 70's. The dog prefers it too I believe

I'm way past that macho bullshit of trying to prove how tough I am. Just take my damn monies and give me the key. And I bring my own ketchup.
