Easy to do with the dirt design uppers. I built the jig with the bushing setup, set the heims to the middle of their range. Cut off the bushings slid the heims in (square tube adapters fit perfect) and welded them up. Took a coupe hours tops. Before that I couldn’t get more than about 1-2 degrees caster without messing up the camber pretty bad

Could be bad springs, one way to kinda tell is lots of preload, but it sounds like valving is your main issue.

Looking to do some preventative maintenance for the truck such as TC cam tabs and TC coil bucket gussets. Do you guys recommend doing anything else?

    A thing or two...
Here's a link to an older catalog. https://eibach.com/us/files/images/page-images/eib_in_ms/ERS-17_US.pdf

I can't find a single page with everything listed but go to their site (https://eibach.com/us/) and click on race springs. Then select your ID, length, and rate. If it's a valid configuration, Coil Spring (Silver) will be listed in the type dropdown.

Sounds like a valving problem. As long as you aren’t getting coil bind at full compression, there is no reason to go to a different coil.

What type of springs? Doesn’t sounds like you’re too heavy in the front. How much preload and is your ride height where you want it?

Ride height is a little low but preload is about as much as I get add. I miss the the road handling of the 700s. Once they were broke in they road nice a little stiff offroad. I would think with longer arms 700s would ride even better. Keep in mind O by passes. Just straight coilovers

Pre-load and spring length are directly related (longer spring == less preload). The limit here is coil bind (when tht spring coils contact each other).

Neither length nor preload have any effect on spring rate or ride quality, because spring rate is constant (for linear springs).

Your post is almost the opposite of my understanding of linear springs but that doesn't mean you're incorrect.

Those who have added a leaf to the DMZ pack what did you have to do to get it? I previously had emailed Deaver before I installed the kit and they made it sound like it was no big deal to get one, gave me a price and lead time. Called today to order it and they say it is impossible to make one without having the pack in their shop to match it to the new leaf.

When I called they told me it wasn’t ideal because each pack is made and arched to match, but since my pack was still relatively new, they could build the add a leaf. I just told them I had the std dmz spring under pack and wanted to gain about 1-2” of ground clearance due to my weight. Gave me a little grief because it’s not the “right” way to do it, but I didn’t have any issues. $75per spring plus shipping.

Is there a replacement pack you can buy off the shelf that matches the DMZ pack? Or do I have to call every time and custom order a DMZ pack?

That I don’t know. Probably have to call and order a dmz pack. But haven’t you been sua for a while? Isn’t it about time to jump to links

Hahah I'm not there yet. Gotta pay off some debt. When I link I'm gonna have a Solo kits and links and shocks sitting in the garage and then drop it all off somewhere for a full cage as well
