The one I really dont get is the pro grill especially oem pro grills on a non pro truck. I almost understand the stance on lifted trucks, but on the flip side I can also see a lawyer having a field day after a denial of service due to mods then a failure happens causing injury or death, especially once they find out the dealer performed the service on dealer modified trucks.

Part of me believes that all these tech advances claiming to improve driving safety actually makes things worse cause people feel they dont need to pay as much attention since their car will do the work for them.

I absolutely hate most of the new tech for this reason. It is giving people more excuses to pay less attention to the road because the car will: auto brake, accel, steer you back into your lane, ...

My mom has a new Subaru with lane departure correction or whatever they call it and they are doing construction where she lives. I was in the car and when she needed to follow construction cones or what not she had to fight the steering wheel to allow her to veer out of her lane and where she needed to be.

Step brother has a Tesla and my parents said it is terrifying riding in it. There is no dash, just a giant iPad basically that you constantly have to interact with, but that’s ok because all the safety features will drive for you.

this is the very reason i got a late '17 instead of an '18 - i didn't want all the new tech.

i will only consider it after it becomes old tech.

I really wanted a brand new vehicle (First and last) But I fucking despise TSS. I turn off the PCS every. single. morning. I'm almost to the point of trading in my 18 for a 16-17 or even possibly a 2nd gen.

this may sound silly - but can you pull the fuse's for these or - can you get OVTune or Carista and turn them OFF as the default?

I'm not sure. The first time I searched, I found no results. Hopefully someone will figure it. That goddam thing going apeshit for no reason pisses me off. I'm just thankful these trucks still have hydraulic steering and not electronic.

Maybe the recall would fix that? Mine has gone off a total of 3-4 times since I bought it in Aug. Only 1 of those times I would consider unwarranted. I was going fast into left turn lane with a red light and there was a big truck coming the other way on a divided road it triggered the BRAKE! warning which I thought was weird since there was a 0% chance of collision. Other than that the times it did go off it was vehicles coming to a quick stop in front of me.

Now the lane departure warning is effing stupid.

At least the lane departure can be permanently turned off.

Anyone know how to repair a boat? Or the basics of fiberglass. Never done anything like it and I want to redo the whole bottom of the boat. My goal is to make it a stronger. PO has done patches already

Tundra conversion. Worked out to about $450 when I did it on my taco and noticeably better.

Does anyone know if this is a 3rd gen piece? After a car wash it looks like it was put inside my truck.

Looks like the cover for the power feed to the rear view mirror. Snapped a couple quick pics for you.
