    Have Taco 3G, but has the Gulf South Toyota “factory” (Port) installed tailgate lock (on all 2018+). It is wired to the drivers side harness. Harnesses are always better than “self wiring”. Wouldn’t need the dual style as a result. Could always offer a “Y-Spltter” for those that do need it. Easier to hand make those “as needed” for the folks that do.

    I have your existing kit now and love it. Down the road I want to get a camper shell and would like to incorporate that into the same scheme. That could be accomplished with a new harness interface (as you have drafted) or perhaps a new Y-splitter (as mentioned above) that attaches to the existing blue and green wires you have in the existing OEM harness. Should be cheaper for those who want to go this route down the road but doesn't alter your design and production process.

    That’s a good point. I guess what I could do is make the harness and then instead of having the butt connectors actually attached, I could just include them into a little baggy and then you just attach what best fits your truck.

    UPDATE ON THE WEEKEND:
    1. I have OFFICIAL SHIPPED ALL DIY KITS for the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runners!
    2. I will be emailing all of you the Installation Instructions Today to your email, so please check your email throughout the day. I'm not sure what time I will get around to doing it, but if later tonight you have not received an email from me with the GUIDE please let me know :thumbsup:
    3. I re-built 4 Non-Tech Tacoma Mirrors this weekend, so they are ready to be SHIPPED out once I finalize the wiring harness and switch situation for the Tacoma's!
    4. I ordered the Wire Extension Harness for all of the Tacoma orders so those will be coming in soon!
    5. The 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma Installation Instructions is half way done as well!!Only areas I have left to cover are the Rebuild and the Wiring sections :bananadance:
    6. Placed another BULK ORDER for my PNP HARNESS for the 3rd Gen Tacoma and I am in the process of ordering the PNP HARNESS for the 5th Gen 4Runner!
    Overall, it was a very productive weekend!

    I think I am pretty close to having one figured out. My issue right now is getting this harness and switch and placing the orders. With the time change and currently the holidays going on with my vendor, that is what is taking so long. Now they have like a month long vacation and I’m having to communicate through their vacation time with their families and stuff. So it makes it challenging. I was really close and then this holiday for them popped up. Ugh

    Thanks again for helping me with the 4Runner Install, Pictures, and Testing of the System. It definitely made it nice to be able to have one customer do the install first before I open it up to the rest of the community in case there were any kinks that needed to be worked out prior to the OFFICIAL RELEASE! :bananadance:
