Wether it is shocks, or suspension lift or like a coil over all I’m asking is for which kind of lift I should do...

Thank you Randy! I was thinking the same thing just wasn’t trying to be rude back because it’s a waste of energy, simply all I ask is for people recommendations for what lift or what kind of lift I should do

Not trying to be a dickhead but he just got this (obviously) and trying to toss out a few suggestions. Read back and see my questions.....He/she can do what they want.

Just trying to prevent him from going down the rabbit hole of mods....

If he want's a "Lift" to support 33's I gave him options. One of them is not doing a lift.

As we all know, there are MANY times when a "lift" goes wrong and there are other expenses.

Just trying to help and the OP can make his own choices.

For looks go for it but to be honest, he/she will have a ton of things to consider....hence trying to help.

NO judgement on my end.....but when posting here expect opinions good/bad on a choice...the OP can make the decision.

Here’s what you should go with cause spacers are cheap. Go with Bilsteins 5100. Have them set at 2.5in up front. Get the rear Bilsteins with an add a leaf. Doing this will still keep you well under a grand. Don’t go above 3in cause even cheap UCAs are more then a few hundred dollars. This will give you enough clearance to run 33’s but you will most likely have to do some plastic trimming an a Cab mount chop. My best advice to you is this. Drive around on your stock set up to see if you do more stuff then you thought you would be doing besides cruising the malls. Chances are the Bilsteins 5100’s will be more then a enough.

Lots of members go with the above route cause it’s tried and true.

Then three inches is too much. A two inch lift looks great, is easier to do and has fewer problems. Coupled with the right wheels and tires you get a winner. That extra inch is a headache in the making for a mall crawl.

Suspension: tunable height, ride and performance.
Shocks/coils are needed in any situation, so not sure your question, but you can keep stock in some situations especially if you are not hitting potholes.

Some say it’s more stiff and some say it’s more soft depending on the coil set up and preload. Marie at headstrong will set all that up for you.

For example I was debating on the 3 inch rough country or the 3 inch ready lift but neither of them came with a bunch, also saw that you can just get different shocks that will lift it

Ahh, ok. I went all Icon as I wanted fantastic on street performance and decent off-road with dips. You have to make trade offs on shocks and the relationship to the springs, coils, camber and height of course so I choose wisely for my needs and adjustability. I also did not set anything at “max”, so the systems would be in spec and at engineering high performance curves most of the time. For me the results have been absolutely perfect. Rides great, no vibrations, excellent high speed performance and, oh yah, I think it looks cool too:

It looks really nice!! As I said I’m new to this so all information helps, if I do the Billstein 2.5 lift for shocks, what else should I change and can some stuff wait ?

There are at least 500 threads under the search bar about this setup. Read them all. Once you get started the only choices you have are finishing or revert. Expect the price to be double your thoughts. I’m not a Bilstein expert, hell I ripped out the perfectly decent ones that came with the truck, but 1000s of guys on TW have em.

    Ray,

How much time have you spent researching what you want?

No disrespect intended but a bunch of your posts seem like you are looking for a solution.

Take some advice, or not, and look at the stuff here on TW and see some options.

Several of us have spent a TON of time helping you.

NOW your challenge is to do some "nitty gritty" research and figure out a budget and what you want.

You can see someone's "RIG" and make it that way but TBH you have a 2019 Taco OR. Ride it for a bit and then see what you want.

You can always go straight into the dealer you purchased it from and tell them what you want.

They should be more than happy to accommodate your needs.

Take my advice and RESEARCH what you want.

It can be set up that way. It’s always good to leave a little rack cause if you throw stuff in your bed then your headlights will be aimed up(for god sake don’t throw LEDs in your headlights). I personally left the rear an inch higher.

I’ll be honest too. I saved and researched for two years before I started modding. I want to make sure I buy once cry once was achieved.
