    6) 3 blower motors for the AC (3rd is now rattleing like the others before they stopped), the driver door will not lock electronically sometimes and the passenger will not unlock electronically sometimes. I had the lunging and jumping in RPMs when using the cruise but TSB fixed it.

I have 48K on it now.

For the whistle sound, have the dealer replace the corner trim on the lower drivers corner. They will have to order it.

Yesterday, I drove my 2WD A/C 4cyl down a gravel road. I felt something in the steering wheel that I have never felt before. I don't know how to describe it other than it feels kind of like a wheel barrow axle that is missing spacers and the tire is sliding on the axle and knocking. I don't know if that make sense, but if it does, any suggestions?

With the truck stopped, and you turn the steering wheel back and forth (about aquarter of the way) do you feel a knocking or banging in the steering?

Rattle somewhere under dash at low load cruising. They've looked three times, still haven't found it. It's better, but still there. Might be that 22LR round that went down the air system....oops.

Seriously though, it's something in the harness rubbing at just the right harmonic. Fricking annoying.

Try turning your AC blower off when you hear it to see if it goes away. I don't know why but in my last vehicle I had the blower replaced 4 times (Honda Civic) and in my Taco I have already had one replaced due to bad bearings and now it is going out again.

    1.) 2008
    2.) V6
3.) 2WD No Locker, No LSD, No Traction Control
    4.) Double Cab Short Bed
    5.) PreRunner
6.) Had a vibration problem after mudding, but that was quickly fixed with a tire Balanceing.

BUT! I dont know if its just my truck, but my brakes feel so mushy and soft, like sometimes it just feels like i have my pedal to the almost to the floor when coming to a stop. My front brakes arent squealing when im braking...

Oh and when i first got the truck i really disliked how it roars to life so loudly when its a cold...but oh well ive gotten used to it lol.

The rust is a major issue for me. It is basically new yet, and it actually had rust when I got it from the dealer. Took a look at the undercarriage before I got it, but didn't see the hidden rust till it was too late. It's just surface rust for now, but the problem won't get any better.

The other problem that I have is with the radio display backlight going on and off randomly when I drive. I know, it's not a major problem, but it is a problem on a new vehicle nonetheless.

I've also got the rubbing/vibration noise behind the glove box when going over bumps.

I now have about 9500 miles and it seems like the engine ticking stopped..or I just got used to it.

    6) Rust is a major one on the doors, paint chips easily. Tensoner bearing, Wheel bearing, Radio issues (took 3 radios on Warranty to fix the issue)

Other then that I love my truck, just wish it would stop throwing wheel weights too and messing up the balance of the tires.

Think I got that listed right, I just started having a clanking noise under my cab when offroading. Toyota said they found nothing loose or hitting. Thought it may be a busted exhaust weld but NOPE. Also if I am even close to putting 2500-3000 miles on the truck it ticks bad. I know I need an oil change but this is loud!
