Yesterday I took my truck in for service, after they drove it out of the customer drop off and parked it they some how lost my keys.. The tech went to grab the keys off the board and they were not there. The service manager paged my name to the service department. He told me that they would make me a new key, they did.. should they be held responsible for replacing and reimbursement of my other keys? Motorcycle, ARE and snapon key?

Secondly they told me during the new key process my old (lost) key and spare (at the house) would no longer work. I got home and tried, the spare still unlocks it via remote and cranks but no start. I don't feel safe having the key out there. Any one have any Advice on how I should treat this?

Yes, they should give you a whole new set as if you just bought a new truck since they rendered your others useless. I would also have them attempt to make it right on the other keys and explain what was lost and the associated value and inconvenience.

I’m assuming you have the push start fob? If so those things can run like $500 a piece

That is why I only give my dealer my truck key.

At the very least they should have gave you a set of keys for your truck WITHOUT you having to ask.

Yeah, this is without question. Did they think your other ones at home would still work?
    Go get them!

They're 100% responsible to replace everything on that keychain exactly as you handed it to them. Besides your truck key, other oem replacement keys (motorcyle etc) can be very expensive to replace. Settle for no less, period. A sharp dealer would have just taken the truck key and kindly handed you the remainder of the key chain just to avoid an incident as this.

Manual transmission, metallic key with attached fob. The key part still fits all the keyed locks and the buttons unlock it.
