I’ve got a set of ten plus a fancy little monitor that came with them that came with the camper trailer but I can’t find the box. Once it’s in hand I’ll build the new wheels with them.

In the Hutchinson Rock Monster wheels they simply bolt to the inner band so to fiddle with them I just deflate, bust the lock bolts down and pull the face so I can get to them.

This outfit in in Gold Coast, QLD. Their product is all stainless which has my interest but they haven’t stepped into the jack off canopies yet. If I went with them I’d have to wait until they do so as that’s what I want. I can drop the canopy at camp and go wheeling, load it back up when I’m ready to move along.

Sounds similar to what's his bucket on here that did a similar thing. That's def the way to go if you have the option.

Hi! I saw you sold your flippac. I was considering doing a similar aluminum spacer with t track. How was your experience with it? I like the idea of using the bed tracks.

I loved the L track as lash points were everywhere and easy to use. If I end up keeping this bed on much longer I’ll add some to the inside rails to replace the factory stuff.

Absolutely sold on National Luna fridge/freezers. Unplugged the trailer to move it out of the shop last weekend so we could fiddle with cars and when we put it back we forgot to plug the shore power cable back in. Came back out to the shop today - five days later - with the boy to get pops out of the fridge and panicked when I realized that it was unplugged and we have chicken in the freezer still. Immediately plugged it in expecting the worst but when I opened the kitchen gullwing door I was met with a display indicating 50% battery power left and an ice cold freezer.

Having a large battery bank certainly helped but the efficiency of this 90 liter behemoth is still amazing to me.

Awesome! How'd you deal with the tail gate gap? I was thinking of completely replacing the cap with a spacer, it wouldn't need the track though I guess.

I added a longer wipe into the rear glass channel and stuffed some sponge material into the gaps on either side.

Cool, sounds easy enough. Now I just need to find good access to a TIG welder. I was happy to see someone had a similar idea to mine and pulled it off in such good fashion.

I really only intended to use it for the inside as the FlipPac had such low hanging fiberglass lips on the base area that I couldn’t use the factory lash rails. While we were finger poking the plan the question came up about what to do with the side facing out which is why we just doubled the material order and put L track on the outside too. Odds are that I’m going to replace the factory lash rails with more L track because I like it so much.

Hey man! Cool build....quick question about that flip camper thingy. It looks like it has legs that sit on the hood. How does that not dent the hood or mess up the paint?

I’ve been casually playing with some different ideas lately and it seems like this is the year for everyone’s rear end to break in one way or another. I’m running 35s on a regeared factory axle and housing. I know I’m rolling the dice as it sits, seeing @jberry813 pop the splines off of his right rear axle has spurred me to start figuring stuff out. I’ve got allot of reading to do followed by allot of measuring before I spend.

It came with small stainless pins that bolted into the inside of the fenders and stood out between the fender and hood. The stabilizer bars would clip into the lid and slide onto the pins. The stabilizer bars never actually touched the hood or paint.

Abandoned the 4 link plan. No safe place for the fuel cell with my overall plan. Bugga.
