What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

You can get them on Ebay. When I was looking for the same wheel but only in black on Ebay I saw more Anthracite colored wheels than the black ones back 5 months ago. I would look for you now but I'm off to the laundry mat.

They are. Not sure of the improvement to other head units but they are an excellent upgrade to the entune premium non-JBL that came in my Sport model.

 

I found them there too, but the offset... well, offset my interest. I think I'll hold out for the SCS or Methods, I really want to put a gold or bronze wheel on.

If you get them from Crutchfield they will come with the mounting rings and plug & play wire connectors included in the price.

 

Installed RCI Rock Sliders before the Bomb Cyclone. It took me a while because I did it myself, but I wanted to make sure I did it right and tighten everything down all the way.

 

True - I had some Best Buy cred, and they were on sale so I bought there. Will need to get rings and harness separately, but will still be somewhat cheaper.

 

The rings and harnesses for the plug and play connection are pretty cheap from Crutchfield. Definitely recommend it for a super simple and clean install

 

Installed TRD Pro style grill. Went with the cheaper choice from eBay. No regrets at all. Installation fairly straight forward, based off of a YouTube video I found.

Did you derp your grille bezel on the OEM grille?

 

Installed @mesojdm Stage 1 total taillight mod. Very easy install and made a huge improvement with tail, turn and backup visibility.

Removed the remote start the stealership installed and replaced it with the 12 volt solutions smart key remote start. The fob on the original would accidentally activate when bending over or climbing into the truck when it was in my pocket. The smart key system works off of the OEM remote. Interesting that both systems use the same module. 12 volt systems use a PNP harness and the other was wired in and has an add-on module for the extended range antenna.

 

Did my ultimate mod today.....PAID IT OFF! Being on this site makes it very difficult to save my money, but I had a to do a few small things.

 

My $2700 mod. I'm actually a bit surprised it's not more expensive. Sadly, my teenagers have screwed up my insurance premiums so much that I can't claim this and it will be out of pocket.

Getting fixed in a week. figure better to do it quicker instead of look at it every day and get more irritated.

Got a few items added to my truck in the last couple days. BFP Heavy Duty recovery tow hook (painted in Super Red 2), TufSkinz vent rings and glove box insert in gloss TRD Red, center console armrest cover, cup and console liners, and a screen protector.

 

That is the lane departure system showing as "ON" Same icon in my wife's Rav. The alert is a pop up like the calls, service reminders etc.

I think if you go air born you get a pop up that says something along the lines of "OH CRAP!!" and the traction control freaks the hell out.
