Morning all!! Been lurking in the shadows on here while trying to keep up with work and spring time house/cabin maintenance.

I have a 10" kicker comp-c SVC 4-ohm subwoofer available that I ran for 2 months off my cxa300.1 amp....@ 4 ohms the amp only feeds 150 watts, which isn't enough to really push the speaker in a ported box. It made more sense for me to just buy a new 2 ohm sub that fit the box specs and dropping it in, rather than upgrading an amp and having to possibly run new wiring... I got a 10" 2-ohm CVT kicker and its paired perfectly and really hits.

Not a thing wrong with the sub, looks brand new, and I put it back in its original box...was not beat on hard.
if anyone has an amp that puts out at least 200w @ 4ohm, this speaker would pair nicely... I could bring it to the cigar meat? Buy me a beer (miller/PBR/Budweiser not applicable) and it's yours.

 

There were a lot on Ft. Dix when I was there, but only made it to McGuire to golf once. I think McGuire was the air base next to it. Thanks for your service by the way

 

I’m not a service member, I’m doing demo work on base. McGuire is an Air Force base connected to Fort Dix and one other base I think. I just see a LOT of Tacomas on base

 

Got ya. Yeah I noticed quite a few when I was attending a school there for a couple weeks. I wasn't into modding, so I didn't really pat attention to the trucks. Although military peeps spend a lot of money mods so there are probably quite a few there.

 

Third one is Lakehurst, I have family that work there.

 

It's part of giving young irresponsible men a huge signing bonus. They usually run out and buy a sweet ride.
