    Hey guys,
Planning a road trip next week and looking for a few spots, preferably dispersed campings.
First stop in the store George area is covered thanks to @Cuffs so now I'm hoping to find something in the escalante area, perhaps canyonland, and finally Moab.

    Any tips/maps/links appreciated.

cool thanks, I am already familiar with freecampsites.net but their spots are sometimes iffy. It's nice to get a local's confirmation.

Horsethief is a good BLM campground between Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point SP. Upper entrance to Shafer Trail is nearby - don't miss that drive. No water but decent pit toilets. Water is available for free at several places in Moab. Lots of dispersed sites in the area as well. Calf Creek campground is in the Grand Staircase and the hike back to the falls is worth it. Highly recommend Hwy 12 drive. The Burr Trail near Capitol Reef NP is also a nice drive.

Definitely taking HWY 12. I'll look up Horsethief. Definitely looking for cool hikes that are dog friendly.

Escalante - turn down Hole in the Rock road and find a fire ring that someone already built. There are a ton of side roads with camp sites.

Moab - there are a lot of established campsites along highway 128 but usually are packed on the weekends. There's a few more off 313 too on the way to Canyonlands but I haven't camped there

Dog friendly hikes near Moab. Anything in the national parks is offlimits unfortunately.

Grandstaff trail - nice and shady with a creek - but is crowded and is technically on-leash
Corona and jeep Arches - slickrock and can get hot with no water.
There's others there but nothing is coming to mind at the moment.

We'll be there during the weekdays so hopefully that is an option. Appreciate the input!
