Thanks! I haven't regretted going with the 285's at all. A small drop in MPG but nothing significant. It doesn't go 0-60 as fast as she use to, but it's not a huge difference. It's really all about what you want, a street truck or an off-road truck.

Hi guys, I have a pretty specific question hoping someone out there can chime in.

For those out there with a 2nd gen DCSB 4x4 and ran 5100s with 887s and the old Dakar HD CS047R leaf packs without any weight in the bed, were you sitting level with the full pack or would you recommend taking a leaf out to be level front to back?

I have the newer Dakar standard pack installed with standard 5100s. Should I be using the extended b110 shocks from bilstein

About 2" of lift it starts getting sketchy. More lift and more tires needs more caster....About double the "stock" specs require... ie 3°+ as apposed to 1.5° +. Most (good) aftermarket uca's add 1.5 to 2° + caster....

I didnt do any major trimming.the offset on the wheels was 0 so I had very minimal rubbing.i have a different setup now..

For my new setup I had to do the cab mount chop..but well worth it, and unnoticeable unless you know what your looking for. These wheels have a -18 offset.Im also running fox 2.5 RR with dsc adjusters up front.Rears are still bilstein 5100's
