Costs $80 to fill the Mercedes up with its 18 Gallon tank on 91 Octane. Sucks.

Still looking for a machine shop to fix that EGR stud before I can throw it on. Thinking I want to get the LCE powdercoated valve cover too. PCV and gaskets are leaking so I’m going to do that too.

 

On the plus side, maybe if prices stay this way for a few months all the IG broverlanders will take up a different hobby and the trails won't be so crowded. Silver linings

You have to use 91 Octane IIRC when Supercharged.

 

Of course....I hope you do too? You're really risking blowing up your engine if you're boosting with regular gas

Yea I couldnt buy premium and drive as much as I do

 

I filled up this morning, $4 something per gallon regular killed me.

 

I'm just going to have to cut way back on the wheeling trips this summer if it stays like this, not the worst thing in the world since I hate wheeling in the heat anyway. If I'm just driving around town I can make a tank last a week and a half. If I go wheeling, I go through at least one tank per trip.

 

Ya there’s like 5 stickers that say 91 octane only, you would have to be my grandma to get the wrong gas

 

I took 10 gallons with me everywhere I went this winter haha
