No way the frame is bent but that's a ton of body work. It would honestly be cheaper to buy a new cab than redo all that.

The only time you should try to jerk the wheel out of a ditch is if there is an imminent obstacle in the ditch, such as a really deep culvert. Slow down and ease it back up out.

How'd you end up in a ditch in the first place, distracted?

Insurance companies don't usually have any sort of clause on why you wrecked anyway.

And no, I kill cows for a living.

I was just joking around. I'm sure it would be the police that would care more about that.

I just paid for half a cow that's gonna need killing in a few months... but I think my uncle's got a more local guy...

But they do care "Why". It affects your classification. Always better to be an Act of Nature, Act of God, or just plain someone else's fault. If it is your fault (or believed to be), then expect it to impact your rating (and quite likely your rates).

If it wasn't so new, I'd likely say totaled for sure. That said, a brand new 2019 is going to be worth quite a bit and so they'll fix quite a bit.

I doubt the frame is bent (though I've seen insurance companies replace a frame before, so even that is not an automatic write-off), but the rest of the repair will be pricey. If they can get used airbags and/or other parts they may fix it. It will depend on a large number of factors, including what your policy states.

There is not much that will automatically write off a car, especially something so new. New vehicles with airbags deployed are frequently repaired.

There's a good chance they'll total it, but if they didn't I wouldn't be surprised either.

looks totaled to me. Every single panel damaged including the roof, Almost all of the glass needs to be replaced, airbags deployed and front looks twisted. Not to mention any engine damage that may occurred having the truck on its side. Like other posts, if they did fix it, I wouldnt want it after that.

sticking a fork into it is the only thing he didn't do.
Hitting an elk, a DOT worker and a firehydrant would have been the trifecta, tho

Hey OP, were you or anyone in the truck hurt? Truck can be replaced, limbs/lives cannot.
