I don't get off on being negative. We all have our own taste, needs, and budget and ideas of what we want. I respect that, help if i can because that is what this community is supposed to be about and move along.

OP I am in the same boat you are in. I on the other hand have lifted two tacomas before. 1st gen 2004 tacoma offroad 4wd with a full suspension lift. IE I had a larger budget for that build. The second tacoma was a 2012 sport 2wd i went with ready lift on that truck and never had a issue with it for 50k+ miles. I now have a 2019 tacoma and i have put just under 5k miles on the truck. The reason i waited was because i wanted to see what the truck was capable of now that it has been on a few trips i think i can say 2.5" will help looks and clearance. I think i will be going with the spacer lift myself.

    Reasons why:
    1. i get the 2.5"'s of clearance i want
    2. i only off road in the outer banks here in NC. Possibly looking to hit the mountains but i am more of a fisherman.
    3. i never had an issue with a spacer lift setup
    4. COST 150.00 vs ~600.00 i priced everything separately includes 5100's front and back, add a leaf, ome 888, driver side spacer. Does not include: diff drop if needed, swaybar relocation.
    5. easier install can be done at home.

This is not the end of my lift journey. I will be upgrading to full setup if i see it is needed. As of now i don't really see it being needed.[/QUOTE]

It seems you have worked it out and now know what you need. That's cool and should make you feel more confident when you order it.

This really seems like your best bet for function and lift. I believe this would give full 3 inch.
