I can't always clearly hear the cb speaker with it stuffed in the dash.

If the speaker you used is rated at 8 ohms and the CBs output expects a 4 ohm or less speaker, the volume on will be lower. Bigger wire will not help.

A full size external speaker under seat or under dash maybe?

Always thought these were good for speaker output - yep, I'm old school :anonymous:
They have amplified versions as well

If you want to stick with the smaller form factor/stealth look (the door tweeter), have no clue - sorry.

I really like the hidden aspect to what you did. You could add a small form factor amp like this one between the CB and the speaker to up the wattage. I would think that the speaker you used could easily handle 20 watts.

Finally decided to route this - breather/union and hose been sitting in a box forever. Oh well, done.

Does the front diff on these trucks have a breather?

Good to know, you always hear about the rear diff, but never the front one. Thanks!!

    From heat I guess?

Some of you guys must get some intense temps inside your trucks.

I guess, all the handles in my trucks are Oem as far as I know and they feel sturdy asf.

When I read crumble it makes me think of deterioration, not just breaking like The outside handles do.

Haha I do not drive through that deep of water. You answered my question on why no one ever does longer front diff breathers. I am going to have to look into the rear diff breather more/ do it in the near future.

    I have mods
I've done longer front breather but that's because it's stupid easy to do. I figured why the hell not.

All back together. Installed cleaned and rebuilt injectors from WitchHunter, new spark plug wires, cleaned MAF sensor, new air filter. Big 3 upgrade with 1/0 and 4 gauge wire. New fuel pump. But I still have a mis fire. At least this time it’s giving me a specific cylinder instead of a random. New coil packs and compression test is next.

@BlackPearl That mis fire is coming off the coil pack that had the corrosion on it.

You wouldnt happen to know the PN on just the stock rear diff breather cap? Maybe @1997tacomav6 does, I seem to recall him making a post about it once.

Personally I just run a hose to the axle and put a hose barb in place of the factory breather, then run the other end of the hose under the hood as far up on the firewall as I can get it.
