I've never done projector retrofit. I've seen some videos, pretty certain I could do it. I know nothing about projectors. I'm the Jon Snow of projectors. I know nothing. (6DAYSOMFGIT'SFINALLYBACK!)

Yeah seriously. I completely forgot about it.

New CV's are in. I can finally get rid of that awful noise the driver's side is making. I've got some long travel boots from all-poo to put on too, that'll be fun.

I've put about 750 miles on the new oil and filter. I'm going to collect a sample for Blackstone and put a Toyota filter on it so Toyota doesn't give me shit for running the oversized filter.

The engine is making a whining sound for about two minutes after a cold start. Didn't sound like a belt. Aside from that, the truck is running great. No indications of impending doom.

    :fingerscrossed:

Yep, jacked up an outer in Moab. It was making some really nasty noises while turning. I babied it all the way home. The drone is getting louder.

I'll replace both and have a spare. I'll see if I can find some parts and rebuild the other or something. The HD CV axles weren't expensive at all, not gonna cry if I just junk it.

Bahaha. I’ve been going around trying to follow all y’all build threads to steal ideas... might have been a bad idea in itself!

    Can't hide the truth!

Use caution. My build started with : this 4x4 truck sits too low. I'm just gonna lift it a little bit."

Next thing you know you're taking the bed off and putting an angle grinder to the frame to fit longer shocks :p
