I have the same problem. I even asked about it before I bought it and was assured that "nothing rubs". How much did you have to cut?

Thanks, just wanted feedback on what you felt.

I've got aftermarket coils with 650 springs. I've ridden around town without the bar to see if I felt anything. Maybe the roads here are that good and I drive it like a truck, but I didn't notice much. I was under the impression it was going to be a drastic change.

It does help off road but I usually am loaded out with camping gear and a dirt bike on the hitch, so I take it mellow.

What was the temp like when you tried to install? Did you let the fabric sit in the sun for a bit?

I've had a bestop for about 7 years now, so it's loosened quite a bit. I still do not try to zip it up if it's below 40 out. The material contracts a lot when it's cold, especially before its broken in.

Little to no change with the LED's I put in there. I took both pictures in the morning, one was yesterday and the other this morning (I have to be at work at 6, that's why it's so early). The first picture is with stock bulbs.

Looks brighter to me. I find the LEDs to improve the view when actually looking backwards and not using the reverse cam anyways.

On the day to day, there is no discernible difference. Only time I notice is when I dramatically turn into my apt complex.

Not too much. I lopped off the corners with a grinder with a thin blade. Then test fit and trimmed some more if needed. Then I touched up the exposed bare metal.

Yessir, I’m a little worried as well because I’ve also read the same and they definitely are not as robust as stock. Some good, some bad, but I could never find anything super definitive so I decided what the heck, I’ll be a guinea pig.

Yep, full caster and I told the shop to give me a bunch for fear of rubbing, I think their alignment guy did an amazing job. It drives great currently but there’s always hammering to be done

I clipped a dog (saw it scurry off) going down a hill in TN with a 5k boat in tow. Didn't even think about swerving. Sucks but it was the only choice!

Thanks for that imfo. Rainy and cool here probably only around 55 F but warmer tomorrow. I watched a video where a guy was having problems so he put a heater inside and blankets on the roof to warm it up. I will probably give that a try

Been debating on the debadge or blacked out. Decided to just go with some decals and sit on the idea a bit more.

Got till august 2020. And I called Cox a few months back. Wasnt impressed. The lady seemed very confused at first, then assured me the truck was out of warranty already. I called Toyota coorporate and they assured me Aug of 2020, and gave me a claim number to give to the dealer should they pull any shenanigans. Rice Toyota has a pile of new/old frames out back. Guess we'll go there, never had a bad experience there.
