Yea, I'm learning to the xds more. Has a palm safety which I like. The m&p has a sandpaper like grip which is a bit extreme.

 

$300 a month and that's including 3 square meals, laundry use, and bathroom also wifi

How much do they pay? Summer job or would you work during school too?

 

This is a Full Time job, if I get accepted I would be trained for a managerial or administrative position with the company. I'd be sent to Texas for six weeks while they train me.

How far would you have to drive everyday?

 

Yep, full time. Local branch would be next to my house, like 5 minute drive so I'd probably stop living in San Francisco and move back home. Commute is only hour and a half in traffic, 45 minutes any other time of day from San Francisco.

I can totally commute to school now, I'm only over a bridge. Figured I'd live on campus for the first year.

Yeah, maybe full time wasn't the right term. It's a managerial training program. They're hiring college kids so it's like a paid internship position until you complete the program, and then they go to hire you full time.

 

So train during the summer and hope they’ll work around your school during the year?

Working 40 hours isn’t bad when you can work weekends.

 

Internships suck on many levels.

Personally, not that it matters - I'd devote 100% of my world to school and securing my degree. That's just me of course.

Do you know how much they pay?

 

I have to disagree with you on that one, I've heard and experienced it time and time again employers are looking for workforce experience. You can be a Stanford Graduate with an MBA with no job experience, but a Chabot Graduate with tons of job experience would be chosen above you in most cases.

I'd rather have a lot of volunteer hours and company experience under my belt rather than nothing at all, it looks better to employers and I know that's what they're looking for
