o_O I am a semi stay at home dad. It's pretty easy have a whoopsy baby with a chick you're not gonna marry then get 50%+ custody and be the primary provider and care giver even with said child is with their mom. Also find jobs that don't require to go into the office so to speak.

Leave the brackets in place, don’t unbolt them.

Use the flare nut wrench to crack free all 4 fittings then snug them back up. This way there are no surprises going into it.

If any are stubborn, use vice grips and try and carefully crack them free. Just be mindful that if they slip it kinda mangles the fitting. Vice grips have saved my ass a few times.

Once all are free, use vice grips to crimp the oem line down low. Unscrew the oem line from the axle.

Screw on the new hose. Then you can undo the top fitting and quickly swap in the new line, so minimal spillage.

Once it’s all done, use brake cleaner to get any drips. Then bleed brakes. I don’t bother with the front, only the rear and it’s worked so far. I’ve installed probably 5 sets now.

Getting your springs from autozone? And are you going to replace the cylinder?

The kit from powerstop has everything I'll need. And no, I wasn't going to replace the cylinder.

No complaints because they never make it home :anonymous:.

But I like the crimping of the OEM line. Sound advice.

Yeah I've got my system down and it works well. I can swap in some brake lines in about 30 minutes now. What's nice is you have an OR, so bleeding the brakes requires no pumping. Just turn the key to ACC, push the pedal down, have someone crack open the bleeder, and it'll continuously cycle fluid through until they close the bleeder.

Yeah man, you have an electric brake booster. All the OR are like this. It's good shit.

I never realized the lazy implications of this. My skater cred is dropping.
