Mudflaps

I purchased a set of mudflaps because I cracked one driving in chunky snow this winter.

I am posting them here as I am amazed they are exactly like the genuine toyota mud flaps that cost 3x as much:

Now I have three spares...

I know mudflaps are lame for off road use - but they do keep the mud down and prevent rocks from hitting the vehicle. I miss the factory ones on my 2nd gen. The front ones would scrape coming off a sidewalk to a road with a rounded curb.

Any reason you went with soft flaps vs. the hard once the OP bought? Curious to know if there are pros/cons to either.

 

Soft is better for off roading. So they don’t rip off.
