Just got the 25,000 mile "service" done. Something weird though; it took 2 hours and they test drove the truck. I'm wondering if they reflashed something, because the power curve is different. Feels much more...linear? I don't think it's me, I never had a problem with how the truck handled, but it feels noticeably different.

On a side note. Doing 100k kms (60k miles for the yanks) I'm draining and flushing every drop of coolant in this buggy. Everything.

Radical I know, gonna see how this works out long term...

Btw, dinosaur juice is very spendy! 1 qrt Oil for T-case...$80 CAN.

I can try to look it up, but I don't have any experience with OBD-II systems. Going to give it some more time to make sure it isn't just me. It just struck me as odd for a tire rotation and "29-point" inspection to require 2 hours and a trip around town. Then I go to go home and I wonder if they gave me back the right truck.

I've been doing that every 2k miles. Read about it here on TW. You can never be too careful.

You wait that long? You should really consider a 12-hour/100 mile regime. I don't care what Toyota says, you're hurting the truck waiting that long between changes.

God, I forgot all about that. Unfortunately, my toolboxes are black, so it would clash. Have to keep looking. I just kept the beer outside this last winter. Now that spring is upon us, I'll have to get something. Maybe this weekend, after I change my $250 light bulb.

It isn't even Friday yet. You keep that up and someone might accidentally post a flex pic.
