So I have a Sig 226 MK25 that I love except for the trigger.
So much take up, long ass reset and generally subpar.

I ordered a STR kit from Midway wh ik le perusing standard capacity magazines during Freedom Week.

Last night, I found a great you tube video and went to work.

Hint, this guy talks alot, but his video is worth it.
Changed it in less than 10 minutes.

Now the 226 is all I want it to be.....well maybe an RMR for the tacticool factor......

    Nah, just kidding.

No need to send the SIG to grayguns. The SRT (Short Reset Trigger) is all you need. I have had just about every sig, can take them down all the way, and reassemble.

The SRT Kit makes the DA/SA triggers perfect, the reset is super short *almost 1911 short* and tactile. You can feel it, and ride the reset. Its like butter.

The only reason I dont have a 229 now is that they are a little heavy and the P30 looks cool with my osprey. The 229 is imo the perfect handgun to me, but im more partial to DA/SA guns.

While you are in there you can do some polishing of internal wear parts with a little 1000 grit sand paper and some mag aluminum polish and have the smoothest running gun youll ever have... If you ever have any sig questions give me a shout!

I have one of their complete uppers that I put on an extra lower I had. For being a 7.5in .300BLK I was hitting a 12x12 target consistently at 75 yards with iron sights so I'm happy with it.

Appreciate the info! I’m looking at a 10.5” in 556. Place locally has $40 Anderson stripper lowers... Figure I could be into a pretty decent starter pistol under $550

The only thing about PSA is they are worth giving a once-over to ensure everything is properly staked/ torqued. I've got a buddy with a PSA 16" gun that had a loose barrel nut and minimally staked bolt carrier. Other than that, I've not heard many complaints.
