stitches. My point. We all are different. I have steel 3/16 skids full set. Front skid is custom
Tubes come from front bumper to 2nd crossmember. Steel plate bolts to it.mid and transfer is typical bolt on steel plate. Cough cough. Plifphery.
I feel as my current setup weight is the same if not more then when I had mid travel plate bumper and winch. As not much has changed except more tube work -the winch.
I dont really do high speed crap so by passes are not on my top priority list. If ever.

To clarify: spring rate will absolutely effect ride quality, hence 600, 650 and 700 springs.

The unit is pound/inch, which means that it takes 700# to compress the spring 1 inch. For a linear spring that's true for any arbitrary inch of travel you pick. Hence preload "doesn't matter to ride quality" except that we use it to set ride height.

What you really want (in addition to bypass shocks) is a dual spring system, and/or non-linear springs. These will let you tune the ride characteristics better over the full range of small chatter to big hits.

It's also worth noting that you can play with nitrogen pressure in the shock to slightly change spring rate (the gas compresses as you stuff the shock, and expands when you droop it, acting like a slightly non-linear spring).

Doesn’t matter. Because again, springs only set the height of the vehicle and nothing else.

Does anyone know sizes of King fittings?

I'm assuming this is a 3/8th an jic 90 to o ring boss. King wants $90 per line - I'm trying to get the sizes/measurement out to another company which is less than half the price.

If you’re trying to convert what you have you’ll have to replace the entire hose assembly. You could move to a reusable style fitting but they aren’t cheap, nor is the hose.

Going to use the 90 on it, a new 90 (the one circled), new lines, and fitting for the reservoir

Any suggestions on other places to check for a used tubing bender setup other than CL and Dezertrangers?

Yes now that you have the bypasses. Just need to drive it some more and see what needs to be done for tuning since the bypasses have mystery valving in them.

I've been searching for about 2 yrs. Only seen maybe 3 or 4 posted across several forms.
All sold within minutes. I was always late to the party. There has been a few others but they were big industrial type machines or way over priced crap.
