What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah you talked to the stupid person they have to screen calls at the svc. dept. really she just does appointments. TBH I don't like the way they have that set up either. If I as for the svc. dept. send me to a svc adviser or the manager. I have the personal #s to the svc. writer I deal with and the manager. They are the only 2 I deal with. It's almost easier to go in than to try and talk to someone knowledgeable on the phone there.

 

Yeah I know a few people over at rice in the service dept and collision, so I feel like its in good hands there. Now to talk my dad into buying a lift to be installed at the same time.

 

Is there a kit that they make that you can remove easily for off roading purposes? I've never taken mine off but I did drove my s10 for 2+ yrs w/ no power steering.

 

Just make sure they don't have to do any "extra" work some dealers are a little fishy about this from what others have reported. I didn't have to do anything with mine they just did it and didn't complain. Only thing I had to do was to take the cap off and store it.

 

I think there is a company that started making quick disconnect sway bar end links not 100% sure though.

 

Yeah seems to be hit or miss. Even if they didnt want to do it, its nothing I cant do myself.

Those look like they have pretty good coverage. Do they seem pretty robust and weatherproof?

 

You got my vote on the color choice, the chrome looks tacky to me but to each their own... I went with satin black for the chrome reflectors, bronze shroud to match my SCS wheels, and magnetic grey for the chrome surround.

Installed my cravenspeed stubby jr antenna.

 

Others have chimed in but I haven't seen one come out that was 100% for all scenarios. I ditched mine but I have 886s so that helps.
