Leer 100xl. The roof of the cap is thicker for standard roof racks, a buddy of mine who builds duck blinds and sneak boat blinds helped me build a support system on the interior using 8020 10 series bars and 3/4 inch EMT conduit. I also ran 1/2 inch conduit on the inside of the 3/4 and secured those together with some grade 8 bolts. Cost me less than $100 and a 12 pack to build it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I say we go back with a few cartons of eggs, and get your money back that way.
    Just kidding...sort of ;)

This kinda shit drives me nuts. I had some dip shit destroy a bead on a $350 mud tire once. He tore the inner bead so bad it was crazy.
I was standing right there, and yelled out WTF bro! He said oh, it will be fine.
I came off my handle and was told to quite down or they would call the police. I said you better call the police before I beat your face in with that tire iron.
They paid for the tire, as I said I would be back everyday giving them shit and would do so until I got what I thought was $350 worth of excitement out of their asses. Whoa..that’s sounds about weird. But you know what I mean.

Next time, just take the tire weights off yourself before going to the tire shop. Then you know its done right. One short trip on unbalanced tires won't hurt anything.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Scraping off stick ons with the closest sharp edge is not uncommon. They are on the inside of the rim and not seen while mounted. I am not discrediting your anger but that is not really uncommon. I didn’t say acceptable just not uncommon. Someone already said it though pull them off yourself to ensure no issue. However, make sure you get all the foam tape off since they will scrape and wipe the area to be weighted again if the roulette wheel lines up.

Discount tire and a small tire shop that screwed up another set of wheels near me(not weights) had no scratches from removing them.

And a couple weights was at the front near the spokes so you actually can see the gouges after they are mounted

a lot of bad ass stuff
    you're not alone.
All my friends had dirt bikes, go carts, 3 wheelers and such, growing up. I was always the one left standing on the side watching them have fun, because they wouldn't let my ride. Come to think of it, my childhood friends sound like ass holes.

Add me to that club. Though I did have a go cart....I never had the opportunity for the dirtbike.

    Same crap everyone else got
I'm right there with ya....sometimes I think about going to find the cheapest bike on CL taking it to a parking lot and teaching myself how to ride and change gears. Then the feeling fades not to return for another couple years and the cycle continues.

    2016 Trek Stache 7, medium frame 17.5”

Super fun hardtail with progressive geometry. Love the bike, just looking to try something different this season. Was a $2600 bike when I bought it, TW local pickup price will be $1200. The pinkbike listing price, when I get it listed, will be $1400 plus shipping.

    EDIT:
Just realized you were probably referring to the truck parts comment.

I may end up pulling and selling my full set of steel CBI overland skids.
