@mesojdm ....what process did you use to black out your mirrors here? I like the black matte look. Looks like they're wrapped? Getting ready to do my S2 mirror ditch lights, and think I'm going with blacked out mirrors. Seems like a little thing, but the finish you have on those is quite nice.

Finally got my awning installed. Had to make quite the bracket for it. It's overkill, but I really didn't want to ruin a $1500 awning ya know? Had fun making it.

The awning is the Bundutec EL awning, 8ft configuration. The arms when deployed are something like 7.5ft or so. It can support itself, though does come with one leg that's attached. I'm actually going to finish installing another leg, because I'm anal retentive, and want the extra support.

The bracket is 5x5x0.25" aluminum angle. Originally I wanted to get it long enough to run the length of the awning back plate and use factory bolts (so I wouldn't have to drill the awning), but alas, I could not find stock that long. Thus, I had to make a cutout for the bolts on the back side, and make a cut out for the pelican case I run on top of the prinsu cabrack. It's u-bolted to the Thule rack on my Leer 180, and I'd like to change this eventually, but it'll get me out in the woods for now, and that's whats important.

I like the awning quite a bit, but there are some additions I'm going to make. First is attaching another leg. A relatively easy mod, though I did have to make my own bracket. Second is a fabric attachment that will run tailgate side of the awning to the Thule rack to fill the gap in between the awning and the truck. I could have mounted the awning more foreword, but I didn't want that much hanging off the front, and also wanted good coverage in the back. I think this will be easy, I just need to find someone with a sewing machine to help me out.
