What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Thanks for a fast reply. How’s the “range” as far as like being in your building at work or house, ever not actually start?

 

Always starts, certainly works from inside my house (about 30-40') I have never tried from more than 100' or so.
If you ever want to get the cell phone add on that is available (for a monthly fee and $200.00) it will NOT work with the StartX. It will work with the 12V solutions set-up. I am not paying someone $9.00/month plus $200.00 so I can start and locate my Tacoma from my cell phone. For me the Start X was a good value (I paid $130.00). 12V just had a 50% off sale so I would have gone that route, even now if you put it in your basket and wait a day you will get an email offering a 10% off code to purchase. Your call!

 

Installed my trd exhaust, and skid plate. Next on my plate fresh paint, roof rack, and wheels.

Here is another side of the cell phone module that most don't think about. I get a $15 dollar a month discount on my insurance because my truck is now able to be located via gps in case of theft, so I basically get the remote start paid for by my insurance company. Mine cost's me $39.95 a year so about $3.33 a month, that is a net savings towards me after my insurance discount of about $12 a month. The module will pay for itself in no time at all.

 

Good point, my insurance wouldn't do this or it would have been an option for certain.

 

Got @mesojdm stage 1 tail lights out in today and finally got @KTJO 4x4 tail gate lock installed. Plus T Case skid from @Joshp767 at RCI. Updated to most current version @OVTune

Next time, @Baja Designs S2 pro ditch lights. Plus @RedlineTuning hood shocks.

Soon.. @upTOPoverland roof rack and @mesojdm rear cab light. Waiting on BD rock lights

I like that texture instead of it being a 100% color match. Adds some personality to it.
