I believe it’s already out. A friend ordered a 3rd member from ECGS recently and they wouldn’t fulfill his order until the new seal came in. He got his 3rd member in the other day.

I'm in the same boat. I'm on my third ARB from ECGS within a year and it's leaking. I have been on the waiting list since January. If they don't call me before next week I'm going with the E-locker

From what Chase from ECGS said there has been 3 different seals in the last year and 1/2. I had them all and all of them were supposed to fix the problem. This new one coming out in March is supposed to be from a different seal manufacturer. I think he said it was German made.

On a positive note the customer service from ECGS has been top notch

Spoke with ECGS today and they are going to warranty my leaky ARB.

Has anyone in here had luck with ECGS sending them a new complete third, and then just sending back in yours so you dont have any downtime?

I am trying to get them to send me a built third that i can swap since i dont have a garage or other place to store my truck while the old third is removed. Curious what they're doing for folks in this situation

Yes this is what he told me today as well. Made in German, shipped to Australia for quality control, and then they are sent to the US

Awesome, great to know. They sounded hesitant on the phone to do this for me when i talked to Stephen. I told him i dont have a place to store the truck and that the axles would likely start to rust before i got the repaired 3rd back. Thats the only thing im concerned about as it's not my daily

Thanks for the heads up, i have no problem doing that, i just dont want my axles sitting out exposed. Would be worth the $ imo. Gonna ask them if they'll do the same for me

@EatSleepTacos I stand corrected. Watched a few videos and the e-locker looked like it unlocked when the truck rolled back. That totally sucks. I'll probably be giving the air locker one more try with the revised seal.

Just spoke with Stephen earlier and they got new ARB seals in yesterday. They are going to build me a new 3rd with an ARB and 4.88s and i paid a 1000 core charge so i didnt have to send mine in first. Looking forward to getting this sorted out and having my locker again. Really saves my ass sometimes in my prerunner

Very pleased with ECGS customer service

I really hope it works for you. That’s gotta be frustrating. Maybe the TJM like @jowybyo suggested is a better solution.

Watched some videos on the TJM locker, and it looks solid. Less pressurized parts and seals to leak. Now if ECGS supplied them

To all the people with the leaking seal, what differential do you have? 8.4 from the sport or 8.0 from the offroad?
