Where I live it’s just an accepted fact that you’ll probably have a windshield broken every year from gravel being kicked up. Some people replace them each time, others (like me) just drive until the cracks form in front of the driver. I have two huge cracks and a bunch of divots right now.

Cheaper to just have the windshield replaced, but if you're a road activist then by all means go for it.

they are passing the buck and not concerned about damages that their trucks are commiting, time to start a smear campaign at a town hall meeting, try to file a complaint with the Police dept, and negative reviews online, and notify the local newspaper about your truck getting damaged by an uncaring truck hauling company.

I'm about ready to replace my windshield , it's not from rock damage but from the strong Desert winds scouring it from sand and dust

yes but the trucking companies should be good stewards towards the community if damages occur to other motorists that have to share the road with their trucks

I just replaced a windshield in my ‘18 4Runner but I’m not going to council meetings and filing police reports over it. Obviously it sucks but just part of life
