So the dealer left a tiny ding in the finish on one wheel around the edge. I noticed it right away. I pointed it out to the service adviser. She says she will find out about touch up paint and get back to me because the manager is gone for the day. Today she leaves me a voicemail that they do not have touch up paint, but have contacted a wheel repair place and are waiting for a call back.

Honestly, I'm surprised at the level of service. The mark on the wheel is very small. I'll try to get a pic later.

I as much as I hate to say, it doesn't surprise me. Tires and lube are usually done by the "quick lane employees" and they may not have the experience or the will to make sure things are perfect.
That said, if you are adamant enough, it is a Toyota accessory installed by a toyota dealer. They can get you a new one.

I fully expected something to get damaged. I let them know I had expected all the wheels for damage before I dropped them off. I'm just surprised they are trying to fix it without me being a dick.

I mean the likelihood of these staying looking good past the second tire install is slim. I almost told myself never to bother with custom wheels because nobody cares and fucks them up anyway.

I should clarify, I'm not bitching they fucked it up. I'm commending them on not just blowing me off like I would expect.

I hear that. I figured they would just shrug and be like oh well. So far it seems legends Toyota is decent. Pricing not terrible either.

I didn't like Legends, got some cocky 20 something salesman who seemed like he had better things to do than talk to us when we were shopping for Tacomas. He kept playing on his cell phone and was really dismissive. We walked out.

Here is the mark on the wheel. Really small so I didn't get into dick mode with them.

Salespeople are something else. Our salesguy at Olathe was a retired marine Master Sergeant. Picked up I was from a Marine family quickly, gave me the keys within ten minutes.
Then when the pricing started Jennifer took over. He basically handed her the invoice where she started crossing off all the stuff we weren't paying for. I still get tons of emails from them.
I do most of my own work, a few guys here at work touch my truck. If it goes to Toyota.........the is one Master tech that touches it.

I'm observant. It's honestly why I'm surprised they are trying to fix it.

It's always the first ding that gets me. These will probably end up way more messed up over time. Touch up paint would be nice though.

Eventually. I'll get there slowly. I figure I've got til these tires wear down to figure some things out.
