I'm pretty sure I'm aware of the answer but just want to know if anyone has actually done it. We have a set for sale locally is the reason why I'm asking.

3rd Gen Suspension on a 2nd Gen with 1.5 spacer.

My thinking is it would create 4 inches of lift, 1in from the 3rd Gen suspension and 3in from the 1.5in spacer. My thought is this would create too much of angle creating drive line issues. Again, just want to know if anyone has actually done it, the product is available to me already assembled and figured I'd ask.

It's nice when the wife notices these things, it makes it easier to justify future mods ;-)

I can see if there are any visible part numbers later at home. But im not sure I'll be able to read them very well.

Had the fronts/rears off a '17 OR installed yesterday with a 1/2" spacer in the front, and I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked with the look. Top pic is before, bottom is after.

After swapping the OEM coils/shocks on my 30K mileage 2015 SR5 4x4 with take-offs from a 2017 TRD OR 4x4 (<4K miles) and adding a 1/2 inch top plate spacer (from Headstrong Off-Road, who by the way are the most awesome folks!), my net lift was only @ 4 cm/1.5 inches in the front - not the @ 5 cm/2.0 inches I was hoping for...
Not a complaint, just an observation - it was a cheap upgrade, and I’m happy with the mostly level stance!

Maybe because you only had 30k on your original coilovers. I’m doing my 80k mile fronts this weekend and will report back if you are interested.
I already did the rears and can say those struts were tired af.

I got a chance to do my front today.

    @OhDannyBoy
My net lift was 1-1/4” driver and 1-1/8” passenger sides. I used a 1/4” lean spacer on the driver side, too. I measured from ground in the same spot of my carport; the tape measure was held against tire at bottom and leveled at the middle of center caps. This was the most accurate I can get by doing this. Here are my measurements:

    Before:
    34-1/4 34-1/2
    35-3/4 36
    After:
    35-1/2 35-5/8
    36 36

Overall, I’m happy with how close everything is compared to before. Here is a before and after picture from the same spot right where I jacked it up.

Truck looks great! Just curious if you were able to make the oem studs on the struts work with the 1/2" spacer?

I also bought 1.5" AAL's to install with my 2018 OR suspension as I like a slight rake. Anyone else add anything to the rear?

    They work
Edit: To level, most people buy a 1/4” spacer which provides a 1/2” lift (some people sell them as 1/2” spacers when they are actually 1/4”). I put 1/4” spacers for 1/2” of lift and they worked. I don’t think an actual 1/2” spacer will fit.

The spacer kit I had came with extended studs, so the guy who installed it all swapped those out. I also put a 1/4 spacer on the driver’s side to correct the “taco lean”. No idea if it helped or not, didn’t measure anything before haha. Friend gave me the kit for free so I figured fuck it, install it all.

Didn’t do anything to the rear except swap the tokicos for the bilsteins. After 2 weeks, the truck definitely has a slight bro-lean going on. I need a cheap AAL.

I have half inch spacer on the OEM studs. They fit fine plenty of turns on studs.

I just completed this swap this weekend. My truck is an 05 TRD Sport, and the suspension I got was 16 TRD Off Road. Parts included: complete front coilover assembly, upper control arms, rear shocks, leaf springs.

The suspension coming off was all stock with 182k miles, new stuff only 16k.

Overall very happy with it. Ride is smoother and more controlled. Much of this probably due to my old stuff being way past its prime.

Yeah, not sure how much, but it's not very noticeable when looking quickly. Needs an AAL to raise the back.

I just picked up a set of 3rd gen front coils/struts and rear struts for my 15 dcsb however didnt come with leafs. from what I gather the rear leafs dont add any lift as mine has the 3+overload and it looks like its the same for the 3rd gen ORs. However I did find a TRD Pro rear leaf set that says it ads 1.5in to the rear compared to the 2nd gen Trd OR, does that sound right that the TRD Pro gains an inch over the Off road in the rear?
