Okay, me too. Looks like it's an issue with the 8.4. I'm waiting on Chase from ECGS to email me to see how I can pay to regear my diffs while warranting the ARB. I figure that I might as well do it now since I have to take apart the truck for the new rear diff.

4.88's. I have a 6 speed and the gearing is a little lower than the auto.

Probably a good idea. I have 4.10s in my 6spd with 265/65/17s and the truck turns about 3100rpms @ 80mph so its screamin. The torque is addicting though lol

That's my eventual plan if I jump to 37s. Or 4.56 if I decide 35s. I guess being on stock gears still has some benefits being able to decide.

ECGS should honor the warranty. I already scheduled a shop visit for the new seal swap.

Ok, the 4.56 is perfect then. 4.88 works perfect in auto. Wish I had another gear though.

I just wish I wasn’t stock gears anymore. It’s not horrible, but I would certainly benefit from it. Current on 295/70r17. Gonna be a night and day difference when I switch. Hopefully later this year.

Yeah gears and bigger tires is a must. Luckily, I was able to get gears and 35s at the same time.

With the 37's my RPM's in 6th going 60 mph is about 2350-2400. That is actual 60 mph, corrected. The truck was over geared with 35's and 4.56 gears but was awesome! After some time, the higher rpms will feel normal.

After speaking with ECGS, I'm giving the ARB one more chance. They said they have close to 20 fixed with the new seal, in the field, with no issues.
I'm also having a front built with 4.88's and regearing the rear. Fingers crossed.

Did any of you guys get the new seal for your lockers? If you did, is it holding pressure?

After 3 leaking seals in a year
I’m getting ultimate seal. A Detroit. They are guaranteed to not leak air.
    Screw ARB.
I hope the front leaks so I can trade it out too

I found this in the bottom of my axle housing after taking out my third member. anybody know what they are?

EDIT. I figured it out. It's from the wire brush I used to clean the rtv off

Man that sucks. Did you have the latest seal though?

If mine leaks again, I will go a different route also.

No, I didn't have the newest seal.
I talked to ECGS last week and they said all the new seals were local to them and no one had a problem after 4 weeks. But none of mine leaked till at least 6 weeks. I'm tired of waiting and I needed a working locker a year ago.
I've lost all confidence in ARB, all 3 previous seals were supposed to fix the problem too.

I hear you. My new 3rd and clamshell is scheduled to arrive today. I'll keep this thread updated as to how long the seal holds. Did you test yours out every once in a while during the 6 weeks that it didn't leak?
