No problem, if there’s one thing that impresses me about this truck it’s that it still runs like new even with the armor and constantly being hard on it. I do have a slight rear main seal leak, which is disappointing. All I’ve ever done is basic maintenance, slightly by the book. There’s several members with over 100k, I hit 110,000 earlier this week.

Co worker has 277k+ on his 2016 (SR5, V6, auto). Only problem he had was when he backed into a low post and cracked the bed...just cost him his $250 deductible. He changes oil every 5k and tires every 50k. Hasn’t even had the trans or cooling system serviced!

I have a 2016 also, not as many miles as yours, but zero issues other than a battery.
I had the tranny flash done for performance, but other than a battery its been solid.
And I read all of the issues on here and know what to look for.
Don't believe all the naysayers on here.
It's as good as it was if not better than 3 years ago.

The only way I see owning this truck after 300k is if I knock someone up.

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
You guys are funny, my 2002, 1995 and 1985 each had almost 300k on them and were still running strong when I sold them. The only thing I’m worried about lasting in these trucks today is their electronics- but at least mine is a 2017 so it’s not that bad considering what happened to the 2018’s and newer models.

Driving those miles will take about 11 years to attain. Of course that's not counting any additional personal miles you add on. With regular maintenance, should be quite easy without too many issues. I drove a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid bought new to 258,000 miles before selling it to my brother. Only major $$ I put into it were brakes. Changed the oil every 10,000 miles per the manual.

If my motorcycles can do it, the Tacoma should be able to too!

I sold my first ST1300 to one of my sons with 174.3K miles on it and he's still riding it around. Last I heard he has about 186K on it now.

My 2016 only has 15,000 miles on it (I bought it a month ago with 14,700.) Since I don't commute with it, I really don't plan on putting too many miles on it before I retire in 4 to 5 years. :fingerscrossed:

My '03 Tundra only reached 287k miles when I sold it for my '18 Tacoma. Zilch problems with either. My wife '13 Prius has 127k, no problems, just can't quite reach 50mpg average...only 47.7k.
