Does the head automatically rotate in October, or do you have to spin it by hand?

I wonder how much wind noise this feature adds? I'm sure it's not enough to overcome the typical Pro owner yelling about how he got PooDoo Blue

There's a button on the steering wheel to turn it around.

It should turn with the wheel to face into the wind.

It also turns around by itself once you reach 60 mph for better aerodynamics.

I would guess it’s less than the ARB or Dobinson versions. Those giant wood-stove looking ones gotta be noisier, I’d assume.

Next to none, but you do hear the intake better, so more HP.

Thanks, took a few try. Steelies will eventually go, OEM mags will be my winter sets, I'll get some 17" for summer once the stock wranglers are worn out.

That’s what I’ve been running. 16” LT snow tires on my stock OR mags, and 17” c-rated all terrains on Trd 4Runner rims in summer. You can’t really beat the 17” tire size for a good selection of tires, and also having more wheel than tire really lightens up the assembly as well.

The safari one looks 10x better. I will say I think the reason the oem TRD pro one looks odd is because the rest of the truck is super stock and boring. If you put a good suspension on and bigger tires, bumper, etc, it would look less odd and out of place, IMO

Way easier to find the truck in a parking lot with the TRD DAI, sticks out from all the roofs.

Local dealer has a white pro with the thingy on it. Been sitting there forever. Asked my salesman when I went in for service who thought that was a good idea to put on the lot! Said Toyota dumped it on them. Not many deserts out here in Western Ma!
Doesn't look any better in person!

I think I like the look of it better in the winter configuration with the nozzle facing the rear. Certainly not enough to want one but it seems much less ridiculous.

I actually realized this after I sold mine and got the 4runner. Its a shame they don't share a platform anymore. I love the 4runner proportions.
