Basically. They seemed shady, the key the receded as they call it, has no benefit. I was told it would deactivate my spare key (at home) the spare still unlocks the truck but wont start just crank. Now they wont program that key so now I only have one key. I'm SOL and cannot get into my cap or ride my motorcycle.

I guess I would expect them to reprogram the keys you have so it all works together. While it might be a long shot someone comes and takes your taco after, I can understand why in the back of your mind its a possibility.

I just saw that some car salesman kidnapped a paralyzed guy for 2-3 days and stole 200k from him while driving him back home from a service drop off....so crazy shit can happen.

Try contacting corporate Toyota and see if they can help you out.

Hey peeps just checking in. Made it down to Orlando in roughly 25 hours. No stops but gas, food, restroom. Southerners really can't sendd. I mean your see them in snow and all hell breaks loose. If you give them I little rain, they crash, drive off the road, and drive using hazards. I did however get to see the optima Street car challenge vehicles driving down to Daytona.

    Wait what?

I called corporate to ask about my frame. You can call them to make a complaint about a dealership. Im not sure if anything will get done. I don't know if corporate Toyota has a customer service hotline. Id just guess it would constantly be busy?

Complaint filed, she said a customer service rep from the dealer would contact me. Doubting the dealer actually cares. Their reviews on Google and Facebook are horrible.

I did this a year and half ago. They actually were really good about handling it. Dealer refused to call me back about warranty work for over a month, Toyota corporate handled it within a week.

Wait, so a place that has your information,
"Lost" the keys to, your house, bike, truck, etc?
I would file damn police report. And get qoutes to get everything rekeyed.....
    Be belligerent.
Totally unacceptable. Theyre banking on you losing patience, and walking away because youre too busy.

Totally see your anger, it's not like they just lost the one key and can replace that one free easily..
