TRD Exhaust Opinion

Not sure, got mine from the TRD sale Toyota had

 

Everyone who was able to buy it on sale Mine was $465.00 with MSRP sticker of $799.00. I'd probably never pay $799.00 for it but $465.00 was too tempting to pass on.

 

Looks great on your truck. I've got the chrome tipped one on my Cement OR and although I like it, I've been thinking of painting it black. I donno though... it's nice and clean looking so maybe I'll just leave it be.

I like the sound and of course the 25 more HP.

 

Oh yeah I wasn't even thinking about getting an exhaust but when it's 40% off you can't beat that lol

 

Yeah I like a bit of chrome, but I'm going to change out the grill for the pro one at some point, I love the look of it (waiting until after the 2 year warranty expires, don't want to give the dealer a reason not to fix my truck if something goes wrong)

 

I went with the black chrome exhaust. It goes with the theme of my storm-trooper look. It's getting delivered tonight.

 

So where can I get one for under $500

 

Hard to say, when I got it I had to drive and pick it up because it was so large, you'd have to look around and find a good deal

 

Interesting, my understanding was the exhaust was pickup only because of size.

 

Could be a private seller or something

 

I did chrome and most of my stuff is blacked out. Sounds is really good but not obnoxious, instal is probably one of the easiest things to do on the truck, I did it on my own in maybe 20 min. Been running it for about 6 months and I have no regrets, that said I also did the intake and that adds some nice sound as well. I don’t mind what color the exhaust is as most of the time it’s covered in mud.

I was quoted $1200 for the chrome tip and $1400 for the black tipped. Thats canadian. I laughed, he laughed, we both laughed then I hung up.

 

That's what I though until I called them about when my order would be ready for pick up and they said it was in the process of being shipped. I was shocked.

Yeah, the thing is massive, at least 6 feet long, maybe more, but hey I'd take it shipped over driving lol

 

Looks awesome! I have the same color truck. Wanted the chrome one myself. But, I live way out in the sticks and during that TRD sale. The closest dealer was 400 miles away. I didn’t get it.

 

They are tyger, place holders for sliders. Here is a cleaner picture. A little over a month ago I ordered sliders from avid that should be ready any day and then these will be up on the exchange for 100.

 

The long bed box is 8 1/2 feet long!

 

Just watched a guy the other day crush his exhaust tip between the ground and the bed. Tip came off, bedside was dented. Strongly considering sawing mine so it dumps right behind the axle.
