Its definitely a shooter. 50# @ 28", smooth draw for the length of bow it is. It's a bit older model from 08 I believe, made by Gregg Coffey who split from Ron LaClair to form his own company Javaman Archery. Great bowyer, if I was in the market for another longbow I'd take a good long look at the Javaman line of bows.

Even though it's not required in this state, completed the bowhunter class to be 50 state legal and got this sweet new patch out of it. Super fun class with like minded individuals, very worthwhile

Just bought this slightly used raven from a good friend of mine. I never thought I’d be using a cross bow but arthritis in both hands and shoulders have changed my mind.AB52C0AD-1945-4011-9B92-B144E513F38D.jpg

That it was. I had to really coax them in but so glad they committed. I thought it was just one in the distance until I heard a double gobble. Then I realized there may be two. Decoys we’re definitely what hooked them and to get them in range. Gobblers hate jakes that’s for sure!!!

I used to turkey hunt but now deer hunting pretty much consumes me year round. I have thought about getting back into it though, just hasn’t happened yet.

Awesome job!!! What decoys do you use? I'm thinking of changing this year. Our season doesn't start for another two weeks.

I use Avian X jake and hen. I have a second hen but I normally only use a jake and hen. The Avian’s are pricey but look soooo realistic and you just blow them up so they pack up easy. Worth the money in my opinion. I used the first two decoy pics.
