    Plenty of those in PA too. First day of buck season is the most beloved and anticipated holiday.
    Don't get me wrong, the regional differences are not as big now as they used to be.
    TV and job mobility have seen to that. Regional dialect is fast disappearing.

    I spent my first ten years on a PA farm.
    Then my Mom said no more, I'm outta here. Wanna come?
    Trying to cope with being a farm wife AND the Winters was too much for a Southern girl. :p

    So we all moved. That was in 1965.
    You better believe the South was a different place back then.
    Sure as Hell different from PA.
    Regions of the country were all more distinctive.

    Anyway, it's not good or bad, it just is.
