I sold mine to someone with a black taco. :anonymous:

They held up awesome, didn't budge the whole time I had them on, and when I removed them they were quite tough to get back off, and had not left any crazy marks or anything either.

One last question. When the flares are preped and rdy for install and you mention to peel just a inch or 2 before that should i bolt the flares up first then peel just a inch or 2. Basically im asking do i bolt them on first then peel the tape off?

It's gonna be hard to peel just an inch or two once it's actually bolted up. You peel an inch or two before you put the flare onto the truck so that you still can get to the tape backing, but you're not trying to line up the flare with fully exposed sticky tape latching it to the side of the truck if you misplace it by a fraction of an inch.

So im prepping the old flares and the glue on then is really hard to come off. I mean i get most of it off but not everything. Is that going to be a huge problem?

Go to Napa Auto Parts and get their sticker remover and use that to remove the old tape and glue residue. I used it when I did this on my other truck and it made the process a lot easier.

Spray it with the sticker remover and let it sit for a few minutes and should come off. Yes, it's a PITA to get off.

Is it like goo gone? Or a adhesive remover. Called the store and the guy was rambling with like 3 or 4 different items.

it's like an adhesive remover. It's their brand. I'll take a picture in a bit and post it.

Installed mine today. The process is pretty straightforward, but I got a little nervous putting the front ones on because of the three strips in the front lol. Will post pics shortly. Thanks OP.

Maybe not the best thing to use but i just put paint thinner on a rag and wiped it until it softened up enough to wipe off with some elbow grease.

Edit: just saw you were already in the process of installing but i’ll just leave it for anyone else
