    3 on the turbine side.
    Distance piece and 3 spacers.
    16 compressor wheels, aft and forward stub shafts.


    The compressor wheels go in grit booth and stripped with duralum. (Grit) with a high pressure hose.

    Roughed up to be painted with a nickel based paint to prevent rust.

    Yup. Pretty much what it sounds like.

    We watch vids of what happens to the blades from damage from paper clips, safety glasses, coins, etc.

    Correct. Power cities.
    We had an incident a couple years ago where the brakes failed on a 60 ton crane pretty much like in that video.

    Left a 2 ft crater in the concrete floor of the shop.

    The cause was...the retards who re cabled the crane, used thinner cable than what was recommended. So the brakes couldn't grab the cable and the unit dropped about 3 ft into the floor.
