    Did valve cover gaskets, an alternator, and rebuilt the intake with new gaskets today. Plus a fresh oil change and about half a coolant flush lol

    Funny you say that. My wife's 02 4runner, as far as I know, still has the original tb & wp. I bought it with 86k miles a few years back. I've been waiting for the wp to fail.

    I finally got around to deflaring & removing the running boards. I knew by the undercarriage that this rig wasn't a rust bucket but you never know what's lurking where you cant see. I was happy to not see any rust along the wheelwells, lower portion of the rear doors & rockers where the flares were mounted. I have to get the mounting holes filled, but I have plastic clips for now. Still have to drop the head of to the machine shop.
